Lexie is an artist working across printmaking, painting, and bookbinding.

Working with processes such as color reduction relief printing, gouache, and oil painting, she is drawn to repetition, texture, and the subtle shifts that occur through layering. Domestic objects, florals, and portraiture appear throughout her work, often shaped by personal memory and an interest in Floriography the historic language of flowers, as a way of expressing emotion through symbolism. Her practice is rooted in close observation, material sensitivity, and the quiet relationships between objects, pattern, and memory.

Alongside two-dimensional work, her practice extends into bookbinding, where structure, sequencing, and tactile experience become part of the image itself.

She earned her BFA in Painting and Printmaking from the University of Hartford, graduating magna cum laude. In 2024, she received the Barbara Podorowsky Award in recognition of her dedication to printmaking and studio practice. Her work has been exhibited in curated and juried exhibitions and is held in private collections.
